Backend engineer with five years in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines. Currently at J.P. Morgan Chase.
Some things I have shipped: a cloud migration that cut report availability from 5 hours to 20 minutes, Kubernetes and Terraform infrastructure that reduced compute costs by 30–40%, and a UAT automation tool that took testing from a week to 3 hours. Most recently, I wired agentic AI into production REST endpoints so engineers could query codebases in natural language — that is live and cut developer toil by 40%.
I am now building on the AI side independently. Two projects in progress: one uses computer vision to analyze floor plans, another is an agentic outfit stylist. I write about what I learn at imshruti.substack.com.
Outside of work: training my dog Nya toward public access standards, and slowly convincing myself I understand transformer attention.
